Core Architecture of WireGuard
DOTA Accelerator has built a brand-new routing engine based on the WireGuard protocol. WireGuard achieves complete accelerator functionality with about 4000 lines of code, while traditional IPsec requires over 600,000 lines. This streamlined code results in a smaller attack surface, lower latency, and higher throughput. In our internal tests, the handshake speed of WireGuard is 3 times faster than IKEv2 and 8 times faster than IPsec.
Noise Protocol Framework Encryption
DOTA Accelerator's implementation of WireGuard employs the Noise protocol framework for key exchange, using Curve25519 for ECDH key negotiation, ChaCha20-Poly1305 for symmetric encryption, and BLAKE2s for hashing. This combination of cryptographic primitives has been widely validated in academia and industry, providing forward-looking security assurances against quantum computing attacks.
Intelligent Protocol Switching
In certain network environments, WireGuard's UDP traffic may be restricted. DOTA Accelerator includes smart protocol switching features to automatically detect network conditions and seamlessly switch between WireGuard, IKEv2, and our proprietary obfuscation protocols, ensuring stable connections in any environment. The entire switching process is completed in under 500 milliseconds, almost imperceptible to the user.
Multi-hop and split routing
DOTA Accelerator supports multi-hop connections, allowing data to be relayed through two or more acceleration servers, offering an extra layer of privacy for users requiring utmost anonymity. Simultaneously, the split routing feature enables you to select which applications use the accelerator and which connect directly to the local network, achieving the best balance between performance and security.
AES-256-GCM Encryption Standard
DOTA Accelerator employs the AES-256-GCM encryption mode to secure all transmitted data. AES-256 is the encryption standard approved by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) for protecting top-secret information. Even the most powerful supercomputers would take billions of years to crack it through brute-force attacks. Each connection generates a unique session key ensuring forward secrecy.
DNS Leak Protection
DOTA Accelerator operates its own private DNS server cluster, ensuring that all DNS queries are resolved through an encrypted connection, eliminating the risk of DNS leaks. We also include WebRTC leak protection and IPv6 leak protection to ensure that your real IP address is never exposed. You can verify your protection status at any time using the built-in leak testing tool.
Kill Switch
DOTA Accelerator's Kill Switch feature can immediately cut off all internet traffic if the acceleration connection unexpectedly drops, preventing any data from leaking in unencrypted states. This feature supports both system-level and application-level modes: system-level protects all traffic, while application-level secures only specified applications, providing users with maximum flexibility.
RAM-only Pure Memory Servers
DOTA Accelerator's over 3000 servers operate in pure RAM mode. This means that there are no hard drives on the servers, and all data is processed solely in memory. Every time the server reboots, all data is completely cleared. Even if the server were physically seized, no user data could be extracted. This represents the highest level of data protection in the industry.
4K Ultra HD Streaming Support
DOTA Accelerator's high-speed nodes are specially optimized to reliably support the transmission requirements of 4K Ultra HD (2160p) video streams. Game Acceleration and Low Latency
DOTA Accelerator is specially optimized for online gaming. Our smart routing engine automatically selects the path with the lowest latency to the game server. In our tests, latency to Asia-Pacific game servers was as low as 10ms and 60ms to North American servers. The DDoS protection feature prevents you from being attacked during gaming.
P2P and Torrent Download Optimization
DOTA Accelerator has enabled P2P optimization on nodes in over 30 countries.
